I am probably one of the ones who said it's a great idea, Steve....and I meant it. I would absolutely loooove to have a book from Preston...I love the place and I love the people. The thought of releasing the real stories from the streets of Preston excites me. The 'next gen' community have asked Debs to start collating stories at whatever pace she can manage with work pressures etc. It's something that can bubble away in the background & one day a collection of stories will pop up!Obviously finance is a biggie as we are in the very early days of setting up a charity to facilitate community life in & around the prayer room.Personally, as I have recently increased my visits to SftS web site I have been very inspired. I suddenly find I am forming stories from my own life into written form....so far only my head but one day....one day...some may make it onto paper or even the screen I presently peruse!

Hmmm Have tried to write a response several times. Even just trying to write a response here is a bit of a challenge. So.............Writing a contribution to a book or encouraging others to write is not going to happen.
I loved reading the Leatherhead book though I worried that it made Jenny a bit exposed.
I enjoyed Journeys of the Heart and Mind - it fed me and encouraged me, reminded me about the important things in life - though some chapters had to be read quickly.
I prefer a book to a website - it seems to take me a long time to find something I really want to read on a website - with a book it is easier - probably something to do with my age!
